Wait, is this true that Axes are no longer that effective in PvE?

Wow, I cannot believe what this game has turned out to be. Such a disappointment...

@trx despair There is no other way to play; I just wish I could without seeing all that is wrong with this game.

*WE to fuel Asuran Scan, Power Attack, and Cyclone Axe
*Frenzy/Rush as your IAS/Cancel Stance (or you could go with Drunken Master to free up a skill)
*Asuran Scan for damage boost
*Power Attack for +34 armor-ignoring damage every 3 seconds, spammy enough?
*Cyclone Axe for AoE / Adrenaline gain to maintain "SY!"
*Dismember for unconditional DW
*"Save Yourselves!" to grant +100AL to all allies within earshot (~83% dmg reduction)

With WE you shouldn't need a Zealous Axe, you should be able to sit on your Vampiric for 3 lifesteal/hit. If you really want to bring along a Zealous Axe just in case you find yourself low on Energy (how this would happen with WE beats me... /shrug) go for it, and you could bring an Elemental Axe for enemy Warriors.

Your posts lacks one more reason why axes suck in PvE: hard mode enemies usually have high armor levels, making crits (one of axes' strong points) less good.

edit: I`d recommend shocking upgrade to your axe, and conjure lightning. Very, very few enemies in whole gw have resistance against lightning damage.

edit2: just saw that i put 4 pve skills in the build..

This is pretty close to what I was thinking. A few (mostly negative) thoughts though:
1. Don't need Rush if you've got PS on the backline.
2. Cyclone has a 4 sec recharge. You really want to add Whirlwind Attack to keep the AoE going, since that's about all this build has going for it. But...
3. ... That would leave you with 4 attack skills competing for activation time and 3 adrenal skills competing for adrenaline (and no FGJ!). I don't have a solution to this problem.
4. No knockdown and no room for it.
5. Looks like it's still going to be strictly inferior to a scythe build.
